Press and hold to light the lamp
Without its lamp, the mark reads 宁.
Light it, and it reads 守 — to keep.
Keeping time, one station at a time.
Your focus time drives a real train across Greater Tokyo. Like a lighthouse keeper minding the lamp, Ekimori keeps your time while you ride — one station at a time.
Pick a train from the board on the platform: Local, 15 minutes. Rapid, 25. Limited Express, 45. Night, 60. Leave now and you arrive at the time on the right — a time that belongs to your day, not a countdown.
The mystery train won't say where it's going until it gets there.

Write what you're about to do as the ticket's purpose. Keep holding the signal — red, yellow, green — and the train departs. This is a test run, so every second is a minute.

One stamp for every station you stop at. Arrive after dark for 夜 (night), in the rain for 雨, in the 5 a.m. hour for 始発 (first train), after 11 p.m. for 終電 (last train). The design comes from the scenery along the line and the station’s name, so a station always gives the same stamp.
夜 Arrive 7 p.m.–4 a.m.
雨 Arrive in the rain
始発 Arrive in the 5 a.m. hour
終電 Arrive after 11 p.m.
The route map draws only the lines you have ridden: ridden stretches in the line’s colour, the rest in pencil dashes. The Yamanote Line stays a loop with north at the top. Ride every station and it gets the 完乗 seal — line complete.

Every kilometre you have ridden, laid along the Tōkaidō Line from Tokyo to Kobe. The number becomes a place.
It starts as a single maintenance car. A second car couples on at 30 minutes, a third at an hour and a half. At 3 hours it becomes a diesel railcar, at 8 a commuter train, at 30 a limited express, at 80 a high-speed train. Paint it in the colours of the lines you have ridden.
Nothing about your train is left to chance, or sold.

Each day’s rides become a train diagram — stations down the side, hours across — and a short diary. At the end of the week a window-view postcard comes to your mailbox; at the end of the month, My Timetable.
Morning: the Rapid from Tokyo to Shinjuku. After lunch, the Local to Ikebukuro. Evening: the Limited Express to Ōmiya. Three rides, 1 h 25 min in all.
12 rides this week.

Rain, the seaside, a country breeze, a bullet-train cabin — field recordings.

A pause, or a stopover for a break. Getting off early is not failing.
After 7 p.m., every screen turns to night.
